Matthew 25:31-46

New King James Version

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

PERSONAL NOTE:

Obviously as a new Christian your 2 main goals are to love God and go to Heaven. But what most Christian don't understand is making it to Heaven is not as easy as most people believe. A lot of Christians think that they can go to church once a week, be a nice person and automatically make it to Heaven. That is not at all true.

Most people who are Christians that wont go out of their comfort zone will end up being a goat and cast into the lake of fire. Am I rude to say that? Are you offended by me saying that? The truth is there is a lot of work that goes into becoming a sheep. God does not want a lazy Christian.

I myself think wow am I doing enough? I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to help others in need but were I live people have money. But being a good steward is only half of the answer. The section below further explains the other half that is needed.

1 Corinthians 13

King James Version

The Greatest Gift

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

PERSONAL NOTE:

OK I am sure by now you know that Charity is Love.  To me Love is how you deal with people. How you treat people. Where I work there are several people who flat out wont say hi and totally ignore me. There are others who I tried to witness to and they now want nothing to do with me. I am sure many of you deal with these situations like I have.

It is so easy to wanna be mad at these type of people. Jesus says to pray for those who despise you. By no means am I a perfect Christian. What I am is someone who is trying everyday to become more holy. The way to become more holy and increase your anointing is to take everything you do in life that is sin and stop it period.

If you say- that's to hard to do, then knock them out one by one and never look back.

Matthew 5:43-48

New King James Version

Love Your Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
